1.Wash hands and sterilize all utensils according to manufacturers' instructions.

2.Boil fresh water. Cool down to room temperature. Do not use softened water. Pour the desired amount of water into a clean bottle.

3.Add the required number of level scoops of powder (see feeding guidelines). Store dry scoop in the can.

4.Close bottle, roll and shake well until powder dissolves completely (approx. 1 minute). Check the temperature on the inside of your wrist.

5.Once prepared, the formula can spoil quickly. Feed immediately after preparation or cover and store in a refrigerator at 2-4°C for no longer than 24 hours. Do not freeze prepared formula and do not use if unrefrigerated for more than a total of 2 hours. Use the formula that has been in contact with your baby's mouth within 1 hour and do not refrigerate. Throw away prepared formula left in the bottle and clean utensils.

WARNING: We advise you carefully follow the instructions for preparation and use. Proper hygiene, preparation, dilution, use and storage are important when preparing formula. Do not use a microwave to warm the formula. Powdered formulas intended for infants are not sterile and should not be fed to premature infants or infants who are immunocompromised unless directed and supervised by a doctor.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Breastfeeding is best for babies and the nutritional benefits of breastfeeding should be carefully considered before bottle-feeding is initiated. The decision to discontinue breastfeeding may be difficult to reverse and the introduction of partial bottle-feeding may reduce breast milk supply. However, we recognise that breastfeeding may not be an option for every mother. Where a formula for special medical purposes is required, parents should only use this after consulting a healthcare professional. Preparation should follow label instructions; failure to do so may be harmful to the health of the child.

*Over a 12-month period compared with other formulas indicated for CMA (eHF-WHEY, HRF, SF and AAF). Study was conducted in 2014 prior to the launch of Aptamil Pepti Syneo® and Neocate Syneo®.2 †41% of infants achieved immune tolerance at 12 months with Nutramigen LGG® vs. 19% with eHF-WHEY.2 ‡Allergic manifestations include eczema, urticaria, asthma and rhinoconjunctivitis.2
